In the first of the legendary journeys, Hercules (Kevin Sorbo) and his best
friend, Iolaus (Michael Hurst), set out to save the village of Gargarencia from
a band of bloodthirsty beasts. These beasts turn out the be a tribe of Amazons
kept tightly under Hera's grasp. While their prisoner, Hercules changes his
chauvinistic ways when he meets an equal in their leader, Hippolyta (Roma Downey).

Hercules comes across a young woman named Dieaneria (Renee O'Connor) that
decides to tag along with him on his mission to find the lost city of Troy.
It's no mere chance they have crossed paths. She is from Troy. Her destiny
is to return and help save it from Hera's cult.

When Hera ensnares fire from Prometheus (Mark Ferguson), Hercules (Kevin Sorbo)
sets out with a village leader, the beautiful Dieaneria (Tawny Kitaen), to reclaim
it before the world freezes to death. Though Dieaneria gives the demigod plenty of
grief, the greater of it comes when his father, Zeus (Anthony Queen), demands he
cease his quest to reclaim fire for mankind.
